The Tiverton Community Fridge is open three mornings a week in Tiverton Library. It's aim is to make good food that would otherwise go to waste available to people who need it.
Food collection volunteers are essential to the operation of the Community Fridge. The volunteers visit participating supermarkets to collect the food and deliver it to the Library where users can pick it up at times when the Fridge is open.
We are looking for volunteers who have their own car (we can pay mileage costs at 45p per mile) and can commit to a regular weekly collection time.
