Sustainable Tiverton has recently opening a new EcoHub at 20B Bampton St, Tiverton. The EcoHub is already home to Share Shop Tiverton, and to a Sewing and Knitting upcycling club. Over time, we intend to develop the Ecohub into a place where people can drop in for information on all Sustainable Tiverton activities, and other activities going on in and around Tiverton that are in any way addressing the climate and biodiversity emergencies. We also want to develop a more substantial programme of activities in the Ecohub itself for groups of up to 10 people.
Our aim at the moment is to have the Ecohub open from 10am to 12:30pm Tuesday to Friday. We are looking to recruit new volunteers who can help us to to this, joining our existing friendly and helpful team. Ideally, we would like you to be able to come in on a regular day each week.
Your role will be to welcome visitors and make sure they get the information that they are looking for. Our aim is to have two volunteers in the Ecohub whenever it is open.
