Dementia Friendly

This badge is awarded to individuals and groups who are recognised to be dementia friendly. 

To be considered dementia friendly, individuals and groups should be acknowledged by, or have received training from, organisations that are dedicated to providing dementia support, such as Alzheimer’s Society or Dementia UK. Other training that is recognised to fit within England’s dementia training standards framework will also be accepted.  

Don’t yet have dementia training? Ask your local Devon Voluntary Action partner for advice today.

Community Connector

This badge is awarded to individuals who are in recognised funded roles such as Community Connector, Social prescriber or Link worker. 

Please Note: Groups are not able to apply for this badge.

Quality Assurance Health and Wellbeing -  Torbay & South Devon

This badge is awarded to voluntary, community and social enterprise groups based in Torbay and/or South Devon that work in Health and Wellbeing and have received the South Devon Quality Assurance Mark. 

The South Devon Quality Assurance Mark is given to groups who have demonstrated good practice whilst working in Health and Wellbeing. You will need to show proof of certification to be awarded this badge. Groups that don’t currently have the South Devon Quality Assurance Mark but would like to receive it should email Katie at [email protected] for further information.  

Please note: this badge is only available to groups based in Torbay and South Devon.
