Kate Dixon is co-founder, director and facilitator at Forest Chi. She is a qualified Tai Chi instructor with the Tai Chi Union of Great Britain, holds a level 3 qualification as a forest school leader and has a BSc in plant biology. She is a qualified Reiki and Indian Head Massage practitioner. Forest Chi is a unique blend of Tai Chi, mindfulness and nature connection and has been proven to promote well being in body and mind. Kate spent many years working as a countryside ranger including leading wilderness camps and nature awareness programmes for people of all ages and backgrounds. She has used this experience to develop Forest Chi, which aims to encourage people to spend time in nature, improve their fitness and lift their mood. Kate creates a safe and relaxed space where people can connect with nature and each other. She runs walks, workshops and year round indoor and outdoor Tai Chi classes, holding a relaxed and sociable space where people can improve their balance, mobility and vitality and aid many other health conditions.
