Alongside our chain of 19 high street shops, the Devon Air Ambulance also have our online eBay and shop DAAT, where people can find preloved bargains from the comfort of their own homes. And just like our physical stores our online shops also need the help of a great team of volunteers.
Volunteers that support our online shops help us to make the most out of the weird and wonderful items that get donated in our high street shops. Some of these items are then sent to our online shops so that they can generate more income online to keep our Helicopters flying, and our crew saving lives. This includes researching items to find their true value, photographing preloved items to make them look their best for selling online and then listing these items online ready treasure hunters to find and buy them.
Once an item has been purchased our volunteers then pick the items, package safely and send them out to their new owner.
