Art for mental health and wellbeing, workshops and kits

Significant Seams offers artist-led well being workshops and sewing supplies for social good. We build community and support people in vulnerable life moments. We bring people together, support them out of isolation, develop practical skills, confidence and well-being and improve understanding of complex issues across communities. We have a track record for activating networks into volunteering and developing informal support networks. Our current work has three strands, mirroring the regional Strategy for Arts & Health: a) mental health and wellbeing, b)vulnerable young people and c)carers in both prevention and mental health recovery.
