About

Equine Facilitated Learning

Mutterton Equine is a 5 star riding school and livery yard set in a peaceful rural location — the ideal setting for learning, growth, and wellbeing. We offer Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) and EquiScolars programme, where horses help individuals build confidence, communication, and emotional awareness.

Equine Facilitated Learning is a unique approach where people learn through interacting with horses on the ground. Horses respond to our energy, and mirror our body language and emotions, giving instant, honest feedback. Sessions are guided by trained facilitators to build confidence, communication, emotional awareness and resilience.

  • Communication & Teamwork: Improves body language, focus, and cooperation.
