Local charity providing free energy and money saving advice and support
ECOE Advice is a Devon based charity, delivering free energy and money saving advice and support to residents in Exeter, Mid Devon, East Devon, Teignbridge and Torbay.
We are here to help as many residents as possible who struggle to stay healthy and warm in their own homes. https://ecoeadvice.org.uk/
We can help with:
- energy tariff comparisons, to assist in finding the right supplier and tariff for the household
- applying for grants/accessing schemes for heating systems, energy and insulation upgrades
- free energy efficiency Home Visits with energy saving advice and meter and billing checks. Helping the householder understand the simple things they can do that do not cost anything or very little to help reduce their energy consumption
- providing and fitting free energy saving measures to help keep their bills lower, for example draught proofing and LED light bulbs
- accessing special schemes throughout the year (as available) to help with white goods appliance replacements or other household repairs
- liasing with energy companies with the resident and providing assistance in resolving issues
- adding residents who are eligible, to the Priority Services Register for their utilities
- accessing fuel vouchers for customers on prepayment meters who are facing particular hardship
- benefits checks and maximising income assistance
- smart meter help and advice and support
