CEO
Turning Heads CIC is helping to build a community in Torbay that values and empowers togetherness.
We work with people and organisations across Torbay. This includes families, children, people with learning disabilities, those who are furthest from employment and education and those who might be isolated or vulnerable.
Turning Heads runs day activities from Skills Centre at Windsor House in Lime Avenue, a community kitchen and social supermarket from 1B Parkfield Road torquay (next to the coach station) and a café and community space at The Tea Leaf Cafe in Torre. We are also opening a new exciting provision next year called Turning Wild- keep an eye out for that.
From our skills centre we run a weekly repair shop and a saturday club for young adults with disabilities.
We also run evening social activities for adults with additional needs, school HAF programmes and work closely with the DWP providing bespoke work experience programmes and actively employ adults with disabilities across our 3 sites.
