Random Acts of Kindness!
Would you like to volunteer in your local community?
Volunteering is an act of kindness which anyone can do. You can choose opportunities which suit you and your current lifestyle and commitment.
Some ways you could help include:
- Befriending - offer some company to reduce loneliness. This could be over the phone or in person.
- Lend a hand - offering to help in a charity shop or at a local community group.
- Give a lift - offering transport to someone who needs to get to a GP appointment or other.
- Become an advocate - represent a charity or a community group to raise their profile or support an event.
- Take a walk - accompanying someone to get some fresh air and exercise.
- Be planet friendly - join a voluntary organisation with a vision to improve a local outdoor space or sharing a passion to reduce carbon footprint.
- Share your skills - we all have something to give, whether that is knowledge or a skill to teach others.
These acts have a big impact. Your community needs you!
