Devon Connect badges verify and identify trusted members of our community. They are awarded to groups, organisations and individuals for a variety of different things eg: a proven quality mark, a specific role, or to show that you have been approved as a member of a local timebank.
You can apply for a badge through your dashboard. The badges are awarded by the Devon Connect administration team. You can search for members by badge here.
This badge is awarded to individuals and groups who are recognised to be dementia friendly.
To be considered dementia friendly, individuals and groups should be acknowledged by, or have received training from, organisations that are dedicated to providing dementia support, such as Alzheimer’s Society or Dementia UK. Other training that is recognised to fit within England’s dementia training standards framework will also be accepted.

This badge is awarded to individuals who are in recognised funded roles such as Community Developer/Connector.

This badge is awarded to voluntary, community and social enterprise groups based in Torbay and/or South Devon that work in Health and Wellbeing and have received the South Devon Quality Assurance Mark.
The South Devon Quality Assurance Mark is given to groups who have demonstrated good practice whilst working in Health and Wellbeing. You will need to show proof of certification to be awarded this badge. Groups that don’t currently have the South Devon Quality Assurance Mark but would like to receive it should email Katie at services@teigncvs.org.uk for further information.
Please note: this badge is only available to groups based in Torbay and South Devon.
This badge is awarded to approved members of the Torbay Together timebank once they have completed an exchange.

This badge is awarded to voluntary, community and social enterprise groups that work in Health and Wellbeing and have received the South Devon Quality Assurance Mark.
The DeVA Assurance Mark is given to groups who have demonstrated good practice whilst working in Health and Wellbeing. You will need to show proof of certification to be awarded this badge. Groups that don’t currently have the DeVA Quality Assurance Mark but would like to receive it should email their local DeVA partner, or support@devonva.org if they are unsure of who their local partner is.
Please note: Groups based in Torbay and South Devon should instead apply for the Quality Assurance Health and Wellbeing - Torbay & South Devon badge. Any group that is unsure of which badge to apply for can email DeVA for clarification.
