This December, Health Opportunities Devon CIC invites you to Wellness Unplugged – a free, fun and inclusive day bringing people of all ages together to celebrate wellbeing, community and everything Exeter has to offer.
Wellness Unplugged is a chance to try something new, enjoy performances, get moving, be creative, meet people, discover local opportunities and simply have a good day out.
Bring the children, bring a friend or come on your own – everyone is welcome.
WHAT'S HAPPENING?
Activities include:
Mobilates – discover an accessible approach combining movement and Pilates.
Exeter City Community Trust Seated Exercise – proving that movement can be adapted and enjoyed by almost everyone.
Exeter College Dance & Drama – students bringing energy and creativity to the day with live performances.
Exeter Adaptive Ski School – discover how skiing and snowsports can be made accessible to people with disabilities and additional needs.
Drums4Health - Enjoy staying active with a sustainable, rhythmic full-body workout that supports health and wellbeing.
Active Devon Smoothie Bike – pedal power meets healthy eating! Jump on the bike and use your own energy to make a smoothie.
There will be opportunities to watch, listen and, where appropriate, join in.
Look out for some particularly special four-legged visitors too!
The Devon & Cornwall Police Wellbeing Officer and dogs will be joining us, providing an opportunity to discover more about wellbeing within policing and meet the dogs.
And because it's December, there may also be a certain very important visitor from the North Pole…
FREE SANTA'S GROTTO
We're planning a free Santa's Grotto, giving children the opportunity to meet Santa, take part in activities and receive a small present.
We want families to be able to enjoy being part of Exeter's Christmas season without everything having a price attached.
There will be no charge to visit Santa.
Further information about times and arrangements will be announced nearer the event.
