A step in the right direction.
The Root Cause Project aims to use nature to nurture North Devon's veterans and serving personnel's mental well-being.
We love the woods but we also love the remoteness of Dartmoor, our Co-Founder Roy often hikes solo there for his well-being.
Join us on Saturday 12th October for The Root Cause Project's first Dartmoor day hike, guided by Roy on a circular walk across north-east Dartmoor. Taking in The Dragon's Spine, Cosdon Beacon, Little Hounds Tor and Belstone Tor. This walk is mainly moderate (with a few snarly challenges), it covers 10.7miles, with an ascent of 576 metres.
Join us for banter, exercise and an opportunity to re-set in the remoteness of the moor.
As with all Root Cause Project events, there is no requirement to talk to us, however, as a group we are there to offer support if you want it.
Meeting at 0745hrs to leave at 0800hrs, estimated finish 1600hrs.
Please note there is a suggested donation of £20 to raise funds to support The Root Cause Project.
Some transport is available from Barnstaple, please get in contact to arrange.
