Trustee Vacancy: Secretary to the Board
Each month, we support over 150 people in need of a helping hand as they go through the courts in Newton Abbot, Plymouth, Bodmin and Truro, and into life beyond.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in joining a dynamic team focussed on reducing the risk of re-offending and helping people to turn their lives around.
We hold the lifetime achievement of the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. This is essentially a voluntary role for anyone interested in developing skills, knowledge and experience in the criminal justice system, but there is a small budget of £1,000 per annum + expenses.
Part time role and responsibilities:
- Circulate meeting agendas to trustees and senior team
- Schedule and attend quarterly trustee meetings (approximately three hours each)
- Take accurate meeting minutes
- Circulate meeting minutes and policy updates
