We are looking for two new trustees to join our small, friendly charity here in North Devon.
The Penguin Sports Foundation provides sporting and rehab opportunities for children and young people with a physical disability or mobility challenge across North Devon.
We are now at a particularly exciting time of our growth with lots of plans for how we can reach and make a positive difference to the lives of more local families. As such, we are interested in appointing trustees with a range of professional and life experience to help guide us through our next stage of growth.
We particularly welcome trustees with a strong business background with one (or more) of the following areas of expertise: ✅ Legal ✅ Accountancy or Financial ✅ Governance ✅ HR ✅ Marketing ✅ Understanding of disability issues.
The time commitment is a minimum of four Trustee Board meetings annually. These can be held either remotely or in person, usually in the Barnstaple/Braunton area.
