Exeter Science Choir is dedlighted to invite you to our first regular evening rehearsal - at the University Forum this Thursday 26th 7-80pm in Seminar Room 4. More details available here:
Exeter Science Choir - first Thursday evening rehearsal
The rehearsals are relaxed, informal, and no prior experience is necessary. Sheet music will be provided, but everything will be taught by ear as well. Feel free to bring a highlighter pen to help follow your part.
As a member, you'll be part of the world's first year-round science choir, an exciting opportunity not to be missed!
We'll start with the Ozone song (commissioned for UN Environment Programme), followed by Red Supergiantwhose lyrics include a brief lesson on spectographic analysis of star types! We'll end with Stargazing, a contemplative song in simple 3-part harmony, easy for beginners to learn.
I hope to see you Thursday, as we kick off this groundbreaking journey together.

PS Having learnt the songs listed above, you'll get a chance to perform them at Princesshay Shopping Centre - along with around 20 members of the South Devon Singers - on Saturday afternoon at 1.30pm as part of the South West Futures Festival
