If you love science and want a unique choir experience, the Exeter Science Choir is for you! No prior singing experience is necessary; our choir is small, friendly, and welcoming, with experienced singers ready to support newcomers.
In January, we’ll join the South Devon Singers (established 2004) for Sunday performances of Granny Galactica, a space-themed musical in concert form. You can sing along with the songs you've learned and enjoy the others as an audience member.
Later in the year, we’ll perform Powers of Ten, a musical journey exploring the universe’s scales, inspired by the classic 1977 film. The piece includes songs on photons, atoms, bacteria, intelligent slime mould, planets, red supergiant stars, black holes, and more. Previous performances include the USA's Science and Engineering Festival in Washington DC and the British Science Festival.
Become one of the founding members! Join us Thursday evenings at Lecture Theatre C, Streatham Court, Rennes Drive, EX4 4ST. Parking is available nearby and is free after 6 pm.
