Our Barnstaple Repair Cafes take place on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 10am until 1pm at Barnstaple Library.
With a fabulous team of volunteers who gift their time and skills, your items can be given a second chance, new lease of life or renewed purpose.
From small electrical items like hairdryers and kettles to soft furnishings and clothing, from handheld garden tools to the most snuggled and cuddled toy; our team of volunteers will try their best to save your items from the bin with their fixing and mending skills.
We encourage you to pop along with your items and stick around for a cuppa whilst our volunteers work their magic.
If you haven’t been to Barnstaple Library, we recommend a good browse of their books and newspapers – they an original re-use centre after all! You’ll be surprised what else they do – film screenings, knitting groups, walking groups, computer access and so much more.
By making use of local Repair Cafes we can all be taking action to positively impact our planet, save pennies and share skills.
We fix and mend for free but donations are very much appreciated as they help us keep the repair café going, provide refreshments and ensure our volunteers aren’t out of pocket.
If you have any queries about our volunteers being able to mend your item, please do pop us a message either through the One Barnstaple Facebook Page or the Barnstaple Repair Café Facebook Page. You can also email our One Barnstaple Community Developer:
