WayMakers is a Community Interest Company based in North Devon, passionate about opportunities, outcomes and neurodiversity inclusion for autistic people, whether diagnosed or not. With our expertise in meeting the needs of autistic people and those with anxiety, we deliver a range of “joined-up” services:

  • Person-centred strategy coaching for autistic and/or anxious people age 14+. Coaching might focus on transitions into education, training or work, and equally might help individuals to manage day-to-day life more easily, by better understanding their own strengths and challenges.
  • Transitions support at key junctures in life, including onboarding and induction support into education, training and work.
  • Job coaching (this includes strategy coaching for those facing barriers at work, and those on performance action plans).
  • Autism training for employers, line managers and health and care professionals to develop understanding and appreciation of the value of neurodiversity, and to grow their toolkits for supporting a neurodiverse community, be that in their workforce or client group.
  • Peer support and social groups: we currently run a group for 14-19 year old autistic teenage girls and those assigned a female gender at birth.
