Community Links provides: 

Support

  • One-to-one befriending in person or by telephone.
  • Working with Devon Carers on A Time for You, a sitting service that provides respite for carers. 
  • Offering Cognitive Stimulation Therapy, a NICE approved talking therapy for people affected by mild to moderate dementia. 
  • One-to-one support for families and individuals
  • A weekly social coffee morning group  
  • The Okehampton Mental Health Peer Support Group
  • The Okehampton Neurodiversity Parent Support Group
  • Various courses including Thrive parenting and Pattern Changing

In partnership with the North Dartmoor Primary Care Network

  • The Weekend Wellbeing Drop In
  • A Health and Wellbeing Coach for Children and Young People.

The Okehampton Music Centre

A variety of opportunities for children and young people to learn to play orchestral instruments, sing and experience music-making in many forms.

All our staff and volunteers are recruited safely, DBS checked, trained, and have regular support and supervision.
