Museum of local social history, potters, artists and creators

At the museum of Barsntaple and North Devon we have 6 paid members of staff and a growing team of volunteers, who together allow us to open to the public from Monday - Saturday. Our volunteers help in a wide variety of ways from the front of house welcome desk to shop work, tea room assistance, conservation, acccessioning and gallery preparation work. There's lots to keep you busy. 

We are looking for a range of skills that the museum can call upon, but mainly we are looking for volunteers with a smile, that will turn up in all weathers and welcome visitors into the museum with enthusiasm and warmth. So if you can offer us a morning, afternoon, midday or all day help, we would love to hear from you.
