Tiverton Wellbeing is Tiverton Primary Care Network’s social prescribing service. Our Social Prescribers offer personalised one-to-one support and wellbeing groups to help you manage your health and wellbeing.
If you’re going through a difficult time, Tiverton Wellbeing is here to listen and provide practical, non-judgmental guidance. The team works closely with your GP, other healthcare professionals, and local community and voluntary organisations to connect you with a wide range of local services and activities that can help you feel better day-to-day.

What you get in your one-to-one session:
- A confidential, one-to-one conversation with a trained Social Prescriber who will listen to what matters to you and help identify practical steps.
- A personalised plan that focuses on real-life goals and small, achievable changes.
- Signposting to local services, groups and activities across the Tiverton area, from mental health and wellbeing support to education, housing and financial advice, volunteering opportunities and social groups.
- Support to access services and to navigate referrals, forms and waitlists where needed.
What kind of things can Tiverton Wellbeing help with?
- Employment, education, training and volunteering opportunities; links to job search support, courses and volunteering roles.
- Housing and benefits advice, plus information about financial support that might be available to you.
- Healthy living and weight management support and information.
- Social, hobbies and interest groups, peer support and therapy or group programmes.
- Information and up-to-date guidance on how to access local services.
How to access us
You can refer yourself via the Joy platform or you can contact us using our contact details. You can also be referred by your GP or another organisation.
Please note: You need to be a registered patient at Amicus Health (Clare House Surgery, Bampton Surgery and Mid Devon Medical Practice at Witheridge, Morchard Bishop and Cheriton Fitzpaine) or Castle Place Practice.
