The Margaret Jackson Centre is based in Central Exeter. We are a charity that believes that everyone who needs it should have access to counselling. We try to make counselling affordable and we have a sliding scale of fees, from £11 per session for those on basic benefits, £17 for those on a minimum wage and up to £40 for those in reasonably well-paid work,with several other prices in between.
We offer weekly counselling, usually in person, but we have a few counsellors who offer on-line counselling. The sessions are at the same time and on the same day each week.
We offer short and longer-term counselling, depending on what people need.
We have 45 volunteer counsellors who work with us to provide our service. We are open Monday - Thursday.
We have a waiting list, so call us as soon as you can to get onto the list. If you need support more urgently we may be able to suggest other organisations to you.
