About

conserve trees, educate, promote high quality art

We conserve birch and alder trees by promoting, researching, propagating and displaying our National Collections in a beautiful arboretum to educate and inform the public, alongside an educational display of high quality art in a natural setting.

We have a companiable garden conservation volunteer group who meet on Wednesdays and Fridays to help in our lovely Ashburner Arboretum under the supervision of our garden manager. The garden volunteers are also helping to create our New Arboretum. We seek to provide training where this is requested.

Over summer, we also welcome our tearoom volunteers and garden ambassadors to help in our friendly tearoom with guidance and support from a part time tearoom manager.

There are also dedicated volunteer roles and trustees roles which are needed to run this friendy and welcoming charity.
