Charity Language school for students and teachers across Central and Eastern Europe

For SOL (Sharing One Language), a charity based in Barnstaple, N Devon whose mission is to support the teaching of English in Central Eastern Europe. Founded in 1991, it has brought more than 65,000 students and teachers to N Devon for short inspiring language immersion courses. Abroad it recruited some 700 native-speaker teachers to teach in State schools for a year and has enabled hundreds of teachers to benefit from our own training courses run both at home and abroad. This mission work abroad is set to continue as well as our unique courses in N Devon which enable us to help so many that cannot afford to access the English they need. Local Trustees are sought as well as those elsewhere who may have ELT experience to support our team both at home and abroad.
