About
Enabling support for 10–16s with SEND or anxiety, building confidence, independence & pathways back into education.
SEND the Help CIC is a parent-led, not-for-profit organisation based in North Devon. We support children, young people, and families with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) through a range of services: • Enabling support (ages 10–16): helping young people build confidence, independence, social opportunities, and pathways back into education or training. • Parent advice & advocacy: guidance with EHCP applications, reviews, and navigating the SEND system. • Workshops & training: practical sessions for parents, professionals, schools, and businesses to improve inclusion and understanding of SEND. • Community projects: inclusive activities, peer support, and opportunities to reduce isolation for families. Our team combines lived experience as SEND parents with professional expertise in education, social care, safeguarding, and SEND law. We are fully insured, enhanced DBS checked, and committed to safe, compassionate, and effective practice. Our mission is to enable young people to thrive, support families to feel confident in advocating for their children, and build a more inclusive community across Devon.
