Volunteer at Torbay Community Development Trust

I'm a volunteer at the Torbay Community Development Trust (TCDT), where I provide admin assistance to the Steps Forward initiative. Steps Forward is setting up a new program known as the Torbay Peer Development Project. The aims of this project are: 

1. To establish better communication between existing support groups and community interest organisations in Torbay, such as those specialising in mental and physical health, addiction, employability skills, and so on.

2. To provide project volunteers with a more organic approach to volunteering which allows them to identify their own targets for acheivment, invest in their personal growth and tailor their experience to suit their preferences. 

Preparations are still being made, but the Torbay Peer Development Project is due to be up and running by January 2020.
