Samantha Braddock

I am a 44 year old single mother of a now 17 year old who is thriving in collage despite her challenges around being Autistic and ADHD . I love to read , spend time with my family and friends and of course my lovely two dogs . One is almost 14 and is a Labrador , he is still very playful happy and likes to please everyone . My other one is a 7 year old shitzu cross and he just pleases himself . Very Loving but quite aloof at times . I am currently not working due to health issues I experienced last year but I am looking to get back into employment or volunteering. My background is working with children . I loved supporting children in primary schools with their social emotional and mental health as well as building their confidence around learning. I am friendly, caring, compassionate empathetic and always wanting to help and be part of a team . I am qualified in supporting children with SEN and have completed other professional development courses such as understanding behaviours that challenges as well as understanding mental health in children and young people . In addition to this, I have also completed L2 child care and L3 counselling and psychotherapy. I am dyslexic and also I have Attention deficit disorder. This means what ever role I take on I would need support with organisation planning and written communication. I would also need time to process verbal communication/instuctions . I am really looking forward to my next adventure and meeting new people.
