Parent and Local Carnival Secretary

I am a mum to four children who has been responsible for there care on a full time basis. I now have time to spare and would like to help where I can with any causes that require it during school hours in turn gaining references to support employement in the future. 

I would be keen to learn and take on new skills, and further develope my portfolio of achievements where eligible. 

I currently volunteer for my local carnival committee - organising events, contacting suppliers, recruiting marshals and marshalling. I am also acting secretary minuting meetings and providing fluid comminications across our committee. I have worked in retail, health care assistant, I studied Access to health sciences in college and moved onto university where I gained a higher national diploma in health and industries which I gained at university.
