Proud2Be supports and enables LGBTQIA+ people in Devon and beyond to be free, safe, and proud to be ourselves.
Proud2Be is a grassroots social enterprise that supports LGBTQIA+ people in Devon and beyond to live freely, be proud of who they are, and thrive. Founded by twins Max and Maya in response to their own experiences of being bullied and marginalised, Proud2Be now offers a wide range of youth and adult services including in-person and online groups, 121 support, family sessions, outreach events, and practical help through drop-ins. We create inclusive, supportive and spaces where LGBTQIA+ people can connect, feel seen, and build community. Our work centres mutual support, lived experience, accessibility, and a deep commitment to equality and social justice.
