Teaching adults to read

Read Easy is a national charity dedicated to improve the lives of any adult who cannot read or has difficulty in reading.

Our service is free and we understand and value the need for confidentiality.

Our trained teachers (we call them coaches) provide one-to-one tuition in an environment in which a learner can feel comfortable.

The lack of reading skills can seriously and negatively impact an individuals life chances and it our purpose to help those individuals to grasp opportunities that they have not been able to access because of their reading difficulties.

Mental health can be imroved and self-esteem enhanced.

If you know of anybody experiencing these problems you may be able to persuade them to seek our help.

The Read Easy website has compelling evidence of the joy and life enhancing changes that our learners can experience and we encourage you to look at the stories available there.

If you do know of a friend, relative or work colleague you think might need help please encourage them to contact one of us at the local team.
