Recreation Charity

OCRA is a charity that provides sporting and recreational opportunities for the inhabitants of Okehampton, its Hamlets, Tavistock and their surrounding villages.

Current OCRA activities include:

  • Walking Football
  • Social Sport
  • Badminton
  • Exercise Classes
  • Special needs activities
  • Basketball
  • Community activities

Facility management of local sporting facilities enabling local sporting and social clubs to provide opportunities for physical and wellbeing activities.

We also facilitate a programme of sports and activity festivals for the local area’s primary schools, many of which fall under the umbrella of the National School Games awards. We also deliver school curriculum sessions within smaller primary schools and regular after school sessions.

OCRA is also the sports and community development partner for Fusion Lifestyle in West Devon based around their centres’ in Okehampton and Tavistock
