About

Free & Confidential Money and Debt Advice and Financial Education Workshops

Navigate Charity along with Encompass Southwest and Mind in Somerset form the Wis£rmoney Partnership. We provide free, confidential, home-visiting money and debt advice with mental health advocacy. Dedicated case-workers who are not restricted on the number of visits work with clients that struggle to access mainstream services usually either because of a physical or mental health condition, live rurally or have caring responsibilities.

We provide income maximisation support, benefits eligibility and application support, advocacy with creditors (letter writing, telephone calls, appeals and tribunals), debt write-off strategies and budgeting support. Our mental health case workers work with clients to manage the emotional and psychological barriers that clients face preventing them from financial stability and resilience.

Navigate also offer financial education workshops and accredited courses to help individuals gain the skills needed to manage their money effectively, understand sometimes complicated words used in finances, prioritising spending and approaches to saving. Working with school leavers, company staff, supported housing tenants and wide range of individuals. Navigate look to not only provide solutions to financial crisis but to prevent communities experiencing it in the first place.
