About

24 Hour Emergency Food Parcels

Kingsbridge FoodBank started in 2012 - supporting a a handful of people in food crisis.
Skip forward eight years and Covid-19 landed in the UK. Our small organisation grew almost overnight and suddenly we were supporting 200+ households across South Devon.

We have been concentrating on food provision, but have also been able to offer second-hand furniture and white goods to our clients.

We've become part of the wider safeguarding team and liaise with the Emergency Services, Schools, Adult & Children's Services, Hospitals, GP Surgeries - amongst others.

All clients need to be assessed and referral by professional organisations - although we will support people in crisis with food and the referral process.
