ICE Creates Healthy Lifestyle Services (HLS) has been appointed by Devon County Council to provide the Stop Smoking Service in Devon from 1 November 2023 for a 3–4-year period.
The focus of the commission is on working in the community and with stakeholders to engage priority population groups to stop smoking. This includes those with mental health conditions, long-term medical conditions, learning disabilities, routine and manual workers, the most deprived communities, pregnant smokers, substance misusers, children and young people, refugees, homeless, and more.
ICE HLS already has significant experience delivering both standalone and integrated services across the UK and has partnered with health services in Devon since 2018. The team is delighted to have the opportunity to contribute further to the county.
We aim to embed a collaborative way of working with stakeholders from the start to shape the service further, continuously improve and identify mutual objectives across our services to support the people of Devon to live well for longer.
The ICE HLS team are committed to building a healthier Devon together, and we look forward to developing a collaborative approach supporting residents to make positive well-being choices, reduce smoking prevalence, and be part of Devon’s journey to a smoke-free future for all.
