Provide a food shop in an isolated village. No public transport. Open 7 days a week. The attached Tearoom (leased out) is a local hub.

A Community Benefit Society, owned by the community (137 Members) and managed by a Management Committee. About to celebrate 15th Anniversary. A warm, friendly environment run by a team of volunteers, who work 3 hour shifts, supported by a part-time Shop Manager. Full training is provided from the initial familiarisation through refreshers as needed. A key resource for walkers, bike riders and self-catering visitors. Despite limited space, we succeed in proving a broad range of goods, including daily fresh vegetables, artisan bread and chilled items. This is appreciated by our customers, many of whom are elderly. Deliveries are also made.
