Nobody thinks Cancer will happen to their child, until it does. Cancer doesn’t discriminate. Today, 12 more children and young people will hear the devastating news that they have cancer but, thanks to Young Lives Vs Cancer, they won’t have to face it alone.

From diagnosis, Young Lives Vs Cancer's specialist care teams will step in to help, support and guide by providing a package of tailored support including free self-catering accommodation, social workers and specialist nurses to each young cancer patient and their family.

In 2019 Young Lives Vs Cancer supported just over 148 families in Devon with their very own Home from Home in Bristol, alleviating the financial cost of accommodation and allowing families to stay together during the toughest times.

Young Lives Vs Cancer also provide six Specialist Nurses and three Social Workers in Devon to support the young person at their home, school or workplace to minimise disruption, while still providing with the emotional, medical and financial support they need. We can only do this thanks to incredible supporters like you.
