Provide a community fibre arts space where people can learn new skills, make new friends and connect to their community.

Wool on the Exe is a not for profit, community interest company, conveniently located in the St. Thomas area of Exeter, Devon with an online shop at woolontheexe.com We specialise in beautiful British yarn and many local indie dyers as well. We carry a range of fibre art accessories such as knitting needles, crochet hooks, darning needles, row counters, i-cord makers, pompom makers, and the like. Also on offer are beautiful gifts by British artisians. Talented local teachers run workshops for all abilities in knitting, crochet, weaving, felting, and spinning. Our emphasis is on personal and community well-being through the learning and sharing of fibre arts skills, including outreach work. Everyone is welcome to come in and sit with their fibre related work in progress at one of our drop-in groups or via Zoom every Friday afternoon.
