I'm working at West Devon Community and Voluntary Services on the National Lottery funded Encouraging Active Citizenship project, aiming to raise the profile of volunteering across West Devon and connect volunteers and organisations for mutual benefit.

West Devon CVS facilitates collaboration, offers development support, and provides leadership and advocacy that enables individuals and organisations to take action within our local communities, and also promotes active citizenship and volunteering. We are a registered charity (No: 1119730) and our funders include West Devon Borough Council and Devon County Council. We have spent almost 20 years at the forefront of our local voluntary and community sector, and are one of the founding partners in Devon Voluntary Action. Our members benefit greatly from this experience through tailored community development support and monthly newsletters free of charge, and have the opportunity to help shape the voluntary and community sector locally by voting in our meetings.
