In the Community Folk Orchestras we have fun learning and playing music together. We develope repertoire so that we can play for concerts and dances at community events. The music is taught by ear and with music scores, and it is arranged in harmony and in parts for different levels of ability and access. We play traditional music from the South West and beyond.
The Community Folk Orchestra is ‘open’ - so, there are no auditions and all are welcome to come along. Participants can join at any time. You will need your acoustic instrument, some enthusiasm and a willingness to participate!
