Volunteer Coordinator for The CWGC in The SW

My role is recruiting, training and managing Volunteers for The Commonwealth War Graves Commission in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset and also cover the Channel Islands. We are currently recruiting in North Devon (Braunton, Ilfracombe and Instow) and The North Molton and Witheridge area. Full training will be given and kit and equipment is provided. The programme I am involved with is called Eyes On Hands and involves Volunteers looking after war graves in smaller cemeteries and churchyards. I live in Devon but work from home and use ZOOM and TEAMS for training. Also we do do group activities and organise Walks and Talks in some of the larger cemeteries.
