As well as a bespoke suite of Pilates sessions, the studio is home to a variety of classes for the community, including Yoga, Dance and Mindfulness. One-to-one and small group Pilates sessions are available. These sessions will complement and progress treatments given by other health care professionals.
With doctors, osteopaths, physiotherapists, nutritionalists and other health care professionals, we can cater for people recovering from a stroke, injury and surgery.
The studio is run by Jane-Elizabeth Williams, a professional dancer who trained with Ballet Rambert Company where she was introduced to Pilates, following a serious injury. Jane is a certified Rehabilitation and Mat Instructor, a Remedial and Rehabilitation Therapist, a certified Structural Bodyworker and Spatial Medicine Senior Faculty Teacher.
Every person who comes into the Pilates studio will have a full health and fitness screening which will ensure the exercises selected will be safe and appropriate for them at that time
