I have lived in Brixham for nearly 30 years worked in the healthcare industry for 20 years.

I stopped working a few years ago due to health reasons. I became somewhat bored being at home so I applied for some volunteer work with children and vunerable adults for nearly two years before the company folded, as funding had stopped.

I did go back to my hobbies which were sewing, knitting and crochet. I must admitt that I can't read a crochet pattern, I tend to look at the pictures and hope for the best. If someone out there has this skill please let me know I would love to learn.

I also did a small course on painting and drawing for carers at devon college, it lasted for 10 weeks and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Wish I had done it sooner. I joined Brixham Art Society 4 years ago and became their new treasurer in 2018.

I can help in most things as long as it's not too technical and hopefully will be able to help others and make new friends in the process
