I’m a parent carer to my child with complex needs, prior to that I worked as a family support worker for over ten years supporting vulnerable children and their families to reach their full potential. Areas of this included safeguarding, child protection, supporting families with additional needs, child development, and building happy and secure relationships and family functioning. Having two children with autism, and other neurological differences I have a good understanding of navigating the SEND world, education and support that maybe available locally.
