Support families who have children with additional needs
We are based at Orchard Manor School in Dawlish and offer free drop in sessions every Saturday from 11.00 am until 2.00 pm for families who have children with additional needs. We are totally self-funded and we welcome all members of the family from parents and siblings to grandparents. We offer weekly stimulating activities such as craft, music, cooking and outdoor play.
AIMS was founded in 1992 by a local Paediatrician as a direct response to the needs of parents. The group is run by a Co-Ordinatory and voluntary committee. Each session is run by three qualified members of staff assisted by volunteers.
