Provide services to the older generations (60+) in our communities enabling them to live independently.

We offer 8 services in the Barnstaple and the North Devon Area.

Care Line: Offering information and support, help with benefit applications etc

Community Transport: Volunteer drivers take people for medical, social and practical journeys.

Shopping Service: A volunteer either accompanies a Client enabling them to do their shopping, or can take a list and collect shopping, carry bags etc.

Befriending: A volunteer either visits or telephones a client to have a chat and check on their wellbeing.

Carer Support: A volunteer vists a 'cared for' person to allow the carer to take a much needed break.

Hospital Support: A volunteer can offer short term support for up to 6 weeks before, during and after a hospital stay.

Community Activities: We have a full schedule of activities such as coffee mornings, pub lunches, seated exercise.

Wheelchair and Mobility Scooter Hire.
