We support veterans living with complex mental health challenges through highly trained assistance dogs.

Veterans With Dogs is a charity based in Exeter, Devon, supporting veterans living with PTSD, trauma, anxiety and other complex mental health challenges through carefully matched assistance dog partnerships.

Our PALS™ (Partner Animal Life Skills) Programme brings veterans and dogs together through structured training, mental health-informed support and ongoing guidance. We also offer an Owner Trained pathway for suitable veterans who already have their own dog.

Our approach is trauma-informed, positive and reward-based, with the wellbeing of both veteran and dog at the heart of everything we do. We are accredited by Assistance Dogs UK (ADUK) and aligned with Assistance Dogs International (ADI) standards.
