WE ARE A TRIATHLON CLUB WITH A DIFFERENCE!
Whilst many of our members aspire to undertake Triathlons, for others this is not their main activity as they just enjoy the variety of sports that we support. In a recent survey, Club Members described us in 4 words – Friendly, Supportive, Inclusive and Fun. Our members have a huge range of abilities with their ‘Greatest Achievements’ ranging from completing a 5km run, maintaining a regular training programme, undertaking an Ironman and through to representing their country in an International Age Group Triathlon.
Purpose
Our Club Purpose is ‘To build a safe and supportive community for members to swim, bike and run in Torbay. We will support all members to achieve their personal goals in any or all of our 3 sports by providing group training sessions with fully-qualified coaches to suit all abilities.’
Values
We have 4 Core Values:
Community – We support and celebrate members achievements, from first triathlons through to representing their country.
Inclusive – We offer training opportunities for all abilities, providing a range of swimming, cycling and running sessions.
Professional – We invest in our coaches and run/bike leaders to provide the best training for all members.
Local – We endeavour to support Torbay through relationships with other organisations, improving infrastructure and volunteering.
