We are SWAT Roller Derby (SWAT), formerly the South West Angels of Terror, a flat track Roller Derby league from the South West of the United Kingdom. We are made up of individuals from across Devon and Somerset who train together in mid-Devon based Cullompton from 7-9pm every Tuesday. Formed in 2010 and built from the ground up by like-minded, passionate and athletic individuals, our member-owned and operated league aims to compete at the highest level we are able and promote the sport of roller derby through our local community and on a wider scale.

Our numbers were impacted by the pandemic and we worked hard to ensure the league could stay afloat. In 2022, we reached out to local league North Devon Roller Derby (NDRD) and combined our forces to create a flourishing new A team - Devon Roller Derby (DRD). We have had such fun as DRD over the 2023 season and secured the bronze medal in Tier 3 South of the five Nations Roller Derby League. Our goal for next season is to develop our growing DRD B Team and to provide lots of opportunities for all our skaters to play roller derby at a level appropriate to their skills.
