Energy advice and financial support

Are you struggling with your energy bills? We are energy advice and financial support service helping uk residents to keep warm, stay safe & live well in their home. If you are struggling, you may be eligible for a grant of up to £2,000 to help cover the cost of improving your home's energy performance under the NEF's Better Housing, Better Health scheme. This grant can be used for various items to keep your home warmer and lower the cost of your energy bills.

Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Repairing broken heating systems
  • Installing draught-proofing strips
  • Radiator reflector foils
  • Thermal curtains

There is no eligibility criteria for you to receive energy efficiency advice and a free energy saving small measures

For financial support towards your energy costs you must meet one of the following criteria:

This grant is available to both homeowners and tenants. Energy efficiency items can be provided to all tenancies, and installation measures can be offered to homeowners.

To qualify, your household's gross annual income must be under £31,000, or you must receive or be eligible for a qualifying means-tested benefit.
